Fill with tap, filtered or mineral water and leave overnight or for a duration of 8 hours. Ayurvedic principles recommend drinking the water in the morning, on an empty stomach ideally before brushing teeth. Fill up your bottle during the day when required.
It is not recommended to use anything else other than plain water, due to the fact that copper is highly reactive with any acids. Acids like lemon or some fruits may be used to clean the copper but you must not drink out of that water. It can be stored in a fridge but it is recommended in Ayurveda to drink water at room temperature.
Not designed for hot water as the vessels are not thermally insulated. This bottle is solely intended for room temperature water, as recommended in the Ayurvedic practices for optimum health benefits.
Stored water may have a sweeter taste and thinner texture from reports customers have made. Some customers have not reported any difference in the taste of the water when using the bottle.
Before using your copper vessel for the first time, please remember to rinse the inside of the vessel thoroughly. We recommend, filling the bottle with water and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Soak this mixture for 20 minutes and rinse thoroughly before use.
Please avoid using any detergents or chemicals to clean this product.
This is a very subjective matter. Many of our customers have reported to us that they have found the water to have a sweeter taste and thinner texture. Some customers have not reported any difference.
To maintain the free opening of the bottle lid, apply any edible oil to the thread. This will ensure that the lid mechanism opens and closes freely. Please take care when opening and closing the copper bottle. Copper is a soft metal and if excess pressure is applied to the wrong part of the thread the lid can jam. Lubricating the lid will also help with this.

The process of creating our bespoke product begins in Northern India, where Indian artisans have been carrying out metalwork for centuries. In an age where modern technology and its relationship to labour are making vast strides, we feel it is important to support the local artisans and help keep the traditions of their ancestors alive and maintain production of local handcrafted items.
Our products are produced using pure copper, are reusable and recyclable, making it eco-friendly allowing a harmonious relationship between ourselves and nature.
The copper is melted down, pressed into sheets and cut into the shape of circle discs. The discs are taken and placed on a spinning lathe and hand spun into the shape of bottles, cups and tanks.
After the spinning process has taken place and the shape of the item is finalised they are engraved with sacred geometry and positive affirmations.
The pure silver bezels that hold the precious gemstones onto the copper are welded on and the gemstones are carefully hand set.
Finally, the vessels are lacquered on the outside so that they will not tarnish. Copper is a reactive metal that oxidises, and the lacquer prevents this process so that it maintains its beauty.
